Niagara to play at MSG

niagara_logo_bigNiagara basketball will play Iona at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Jan. 25, the teams announced today.

Tipoff is set approximately 4:30 p.m., after the conclusion of Duke vs. St. John’s, which begins at 2.

Niagara last played at MSG in 1997 and is 24-24 there all-time.

For any Western New York hoops fans interested in making the trip, Canisius plays Rider in Lawrenceville, N.J. the day before. It’s about 90 minutes from Manhattan. UB and Bona are not in the area that weekend.
